We’re excited to bring you our new EMS Airflow machine that’ll give you the most comfortable clean you’ve ever had! Remember the cold water and sensitivity you may have experienced from a clean? Our EMS Airflow uses pleasantly flavoured warm water and air brushes the calculus away from your teeth. Once you’ve had a clean using our EMS Airflow, you’ll never want to go back to the old way!
What can I expect in my check-up?
We examine your:
Muscles used for chewing
Jaw joints
Teeth for signs of decay, tooth wear, acid attack and cracks
Gums for signs of gingivitis and periodontal disease
Inside of your mouth for signs of oral cancer
Routine x-rays can help detect hidden decay and bone loss around your teeth and are recommended every 1.5 to 2 years. If there is a build-up of tartar, a scale and clean is recommended and for patients who are at high risk of tooth decay we advise fluoride treatment.
By keeping up with your regular appointments we can detect any problems early on and intervene. After all, prevention is better than a cure!
