Due to the current coronavirus outbreak, the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the Australian Government have recommended restrictions on dental treatments. Non-essential treatments are to be postponed and only emergency services will be performed.


What dental treatments can be done right now?

1 - Acute dental pain i.e. toothaches

2 - Facial trauma

3 - Mouth ulcers and swellings

What precautions are Hogans Road Dental taking?

All patients are screened before attending the clinic regarding their current health, travel history and whether they have been in contact with a known or suspected COVID-19 patient. In addition we also:

1 - Patients allowed to wait in their vehicle and reception to call when ready

2 - Waiting room chairs spaced at least 1.5m from each other

3 - Alcohol-based hand sanitiser available in the waiting room

4 - Prior to treatment, a 30 second mouth rinse with hydrogen peroxide

We retain our strict infection control protocols which includes the use of disposable barriers, sterilisation of equipment and wiping down of all surfaces after each patient. If you have queries please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
